Who We Are
Preacher’s Daughter Pictures is a female-forward production company based in Nashville, TN. Founded by Valerie Jane Parker, we focus on developing and producing narrative features, short films, television, and web series.
Our work moves across genre — psychological drama, horror, dark comedy, romance, and the surreal — but remains rooted in emotional truth, vulnerability, and hope. We are interested in stories that are raw, cinematic, a little twisted, and deeply human.
Founder: Valerie Jane Parker is an actor, writer, and producer born in Harare, Zimbabwe, raised in the American South, and partly shaped by years living between Nashville, TN and Paris, France. An 11th-generation pastor’s daughter, she founded Preacher’s Daughter Pictures as a home for female-forward stories that are raw, cinematic, a little twisted, and deeply human.Her credits include The Bikeriders, Greenleaf, Wrong Turn, The Voices, Nashville, and Dynasty.
